[attr="class","textTitle"]Duel System [attr="class","textBody"] - There are five key traits in a duel: Strength, Endurance, Accuracy, Agility, and Stamina.
- A duel must follow the procedure given below:
- Person A is attacking Person B.
- In the first post, Person A will attempt to hit Person B. (Person A will roll for Strength and Accuracy).
- In the second post, Person B will first defend Person A’s attack (Person B will roll for Endurance and Agility), and then, Person B will attack Person A (Person B will roll for Strength and Accuracy).
- This exchange will continue until one or the other is hit a total of 3 times.
- The 3rd hit will mortally wound.
- An attack is successful if the attacker's Strength and Accuracy roll is higher than the defender's Endurance and Agility. Otherwise, the attack is considered to be either blocked or evaded.
- Stamina affects combat capability as stated in the Trait: once you reach the maximum post duration allowed by your Stamina’s rank, the ranks of all your physical Traits will be dropped by one rank for the duration of the cooldown.
- Mortally wounded characters cannot leave the thread or start/join new threads until someone enters the thread and saves them.
- If nobody enters the thread to save the mortally wounded character within 72 hours since the wounding post, then the character will die.

[attr="class","textTitle"]Battle System [attr="class","textBody"] - To capture a fort, you must:
- March your army to the fort.
- Fight the defending Champion.
- Defeat the defending army.
- Army March: You must march your army from their current location to the fort you want to capture. To do this, you must write the starting location of your army and their destination in the Army Movement thread. Once that is done, you must wait 48 hours before you begin the Champion Duel.
- Champion Duel: Both the defending and attacking army will choose one Champion each, who must fight until one is mortally wounded or surrenders.
- Battle: Once the champion duel is over, the two champions must roll for the battle outcome as follows (all numbers are rounded up):
- The roll range for the winner’s army is [x1 - x1.1]. That is, if the army strength is 100 men, then the winner will roll a dice with the range [100-110]. The outcome is the number of men killed in the loser’s army.
- The roll range for the loser’s army is [x0.9 - x1]. That is, if the army strength is 100 men, then the loser will roll a dice with the range [90-100]. The outcome is the number of men killed in the winner’s army.
- After these rolls, whichever side has the biggest army, wins the battle. And if there are any men left in the losing army, they will join the winning side.
- Check NPCs for the stats of an NPC defending champion and the army strength of an NPC House.
- If the army of the champion, who lost the duel, wins the battle, that champion is immediately saved. In this case, the champion of the losing army must surrender or will be mortally wounded.
- If you already have one or more forts, then you must ensure there is an adviser or a commander in all your captured forts before you march your army to capture another.
