Battle For Queenscrown Year 1475 | Perhaps there was a breach, through one of the castles at the wall, the shadow tower had always been a haven for the lazy, one way or another, the wildlings, were spotted, south of the wall, making their way to the village of Queenscrown. A squad from the Northern army was dispatched to defend the village, despite being outnumbered, under the clever commandeering of the platoon leader, Sigeweard Saunders, the army returned victorious. | |
Stainthorpe Weds Roxton Year 1478 | Baldwin Stainthorpe had established a very wary and strict rule over the Eyrie. When it was time for him to choose a wife, he was offered many options by his advisor and he settled for the sharp featured Alanna and a section of her fairly large, Roxton army. A raven was sent for Casterly Rock, a prompt reply with a date was received as a response. So began the alliance of Stainthorpes and Roxtons. | |
Delacroix Weds Brackwell Year 1479 | Edread Delacroix wasn't much of an inventor, but he knew the tricks to smithing and he worked with what he had. The man ensured the factory ran smoothly. It turned out, that Felicity Brackwell was rather fascinated by weaponry, and was keen to understand the inner-workings of the resident smiths of Westeros. Upon visiting The Twins, she seemingly cast a spell on the brutish Edread Delacroix. A friendship was wrought into a marriage. The Delacroix won the favor of the Brackwells. | |
A New Northern Ruler Year 1480 | Following an invitation to celebrate the arrival of Richard Stainthorpe, Baldwin and Alanna's first born son, the Hawthornes are invited to attend another event, further North. Little did they know, the alleged wedding of Casper Esben's daughter was a ruse. Their visit was soon transformed into a hostage situation, with Casper demanding more men to guard the wall, following the recent breach. This did not work in his favor however, for the hero of the Queenscrown battle, Sigeweard Saunders, rebelled against the Lord's unethical ways, and was supported by a fair share of the northern army. Casper Esben was beheaded for treason, and the North was reassigned to Sigeweard Saunders, by king Duke Hawthorne as a show of gratitude and reward for valor. | |
The First Rebellion Year 1482 | Perhaps the Stainthorpes agreed with late Casper Esben, or maybe they had other motives, but their army coupled with the fraction from Casterly rock, men marched south, to King's Landing to attempt a coup. Under the threat of war, Duke agreed to a negotiation within the fortnight. He used the time, to get his children to safety. With the aid of Sigeweard Saunders and Alfred Delacroix, Frederick was sent across the narrow sea to Essos and Bernadette was asked to leave for Storm's end, to stay with her uncle Arthur Estermont, via Kingswood, however, she never made it there. The negotiation went south quickly, and Duke was challenged to a duel to the death. The proud man did not decline, nor did he choose a champion in his stead, but fought valiantly to his end. Evangeline was beheaded under the new reign, but neither of the Hawthorne offsprings was found. The coup, which was going to extend to conquering other lands, was paused, when the general of Stainthorpe army, Keirnan Dedrick was found dead in a brother on the outskirts of Stormlands. It was believed to be an assassination, but the criminal was never caught. | |
The Second Rebellion Year 1487 | The fragmented kingdoms were under the reign of the Stainthorpes for only five years, before Frederick Hawthorne returned, to claim what is rightfully his. He returned through Dorne, with Sigeweard Saunders, both of them wedded to foreign wives and gifted with supernatural powers. While Sigeweard was now a pyromancer, Frederick could heal the gravest of injuries and wipe scarring events from the minds of willing subjects. The two used their wits and war tactics, to unite forces with the house of Estermonts and the Dornish house of Umbriel, the Delacroix also participating in the forces of their rightful king. | |
Rightfully Hawthorne's Year 1488 | With an overwhelming majority against their reign, the Stainthorpes attempted preparing for war. But most of their allies were unwilling to go up against such a large force, Baldwin and Alanna were left with no choice but to surrender. The two were beheaded for their contempt towards the crown. Young Richard Stainthorpe was pardoned and reinstated as the lord of the Vale, under the strict guidance of Sigeweard Saunders, who was now named the hand of King Frederick Hawthorne. | |
The Crown's 'Power' Year 1489 | The crown announced that the source of the mysterious powers that were bestowed upon Lord Saunders and King Hawthorne were incited by none other than the fierce, Kimberly Hawthorne. While this was met with criticism and some fear for the unknown, most craved to earn the favor of the crown so their loved ones could be cured by Frederick Hawthorne or so they too, could have a power incited in them. | |
Princess Born Year 1491 | A year long peaceful reign, begged for some cause to celebrate. This cause arrived in the form of lovely Eva Hawthorne, the first-born daughter of Frederick and Kimberly Hawthorne. All the lords and ladies of the seven kingdoms either attended to the grand seven-day long event or sent their representatives to attend the large and fancy feast and stay, arranged by the royal family. | |

Brackwell Weds Hansen Year 1498 | Tired of his lonely reign, the younger brother of Felicity (Brackwell) Delacroix, Huxley Brackwell chose a suitor from himself. From the array of women at his disposal he picked the challenging and ferocious swordswoman, from house Hansen, that sat on the outskirts of the Reach, effectively expanding the ownership of his land by a smidge. Rumors have it, that she demanded he beat her in a duel and only tthen will she marry him, Huxley lost, but she married him because of the grace he displayed upon losing. | |

They named him Jeremy and yet another feast, even grander than the one before, was thrown to celebrate the arrival of an heir to the seven kingdoms. Stainthorpe Weds Delacroix Year 1505 | The Delacroixs, were worried that if Richard Stainthorpe isn't soon checked, he might grow up to be cynical and vengeful. Instead of giving him a chance to pick a wife from the noble families that resided in the Vale, Edread and Felicity Delacroix, arranged a match between their own first born daughter Jane Delacroix and the handsome orphaned Stainthorpe, to ensure things remained on an even keel. Lord Richard was more than happy to accept the stunning Jane in marriage. | |
Tash Weds Saunders Year 1507 | In a twisted state of affairs, Sigeweard ventures beyond the wall, accompanied by his curious daughter Harmony Saunders to assess the wildling threat. The wildlings have banded together in an army and the king beyond the wall, demands a betrothal of his son, to the Saunders daughter in exchange for guarantee that no more villages shall be forcefully raided, provided enough shelter and care is taken of the men beyond the wall and by extension his daughter, should he agree. Before Sigeweard could consider the offer, Harmony voluntarily agreed. The wildlings, at least seemingly held onto their pact, following the marriage between Ulric Tash and Harmony Saunders. | |
Delacroix Weds Hawthorne Year 1510 | Despite the hand of the king's reservations, Jack Delacroix and Eva Hawthorne are tied in the holy bond of marriage. The princess even gives birth to her first born daughter, Lisa Delacroix, the very same year. Frederick Hawthorne insists that upon growing to the age of ten, Lisa must be sent to the kingdom, to train, for she is the blood of the powerful Kimberly Hawthorne. | |

Hailing from the Iron Islands, Payton, the younger sister of the powerful ruler Regina Blacktyde, hopes that this alliance will aid her family back home. Alden too, wishes that with the Saunders backing them, the Blacktydes can stave off the encroaching hands of the Westerosi lands that seek to take control of the Iron islands, in addition the Saunders have won themselves a loyal fleet. | |
Whitewalker Threat Year 1516 | A very rattled and quiet Harmony Saunders returns to Winterfell, with a six-year-old daughter Kiara. She talks very little, at first only revealing that unspeakable threats have swarmed the lands of always winter. She is tight-lipped about the details and slowly, very tentatively opens up to reveal that White Walkers may have been sighted. Her tactful marriage to Ulric Tash, now the king beyond the wall, has been rendered useless and so was nullified. Tash declared that out of desperation and the safety of his men, he is going to be forced to find ways to breach the wall again unless other arrangements could be made. Sigeweard, unwilling to throw Westeros into a state of panic, keeps this information to himself. | |
Hawthorne Betrothed To Roxton Year 1524 | Prince Jeremy Hawthorne was approached by the Delacroix, with a proposal to have Lisa Delacroix, be his intended, but he turned it down, on accounts of incest. Instead, despite the reservations of his advisors. he chose the adopted Rylee Roxton as his intended. The decision is met with surprise and much bemusement for the father of Rylee Roxton, Royce, who had claimed, that in spite of her background, he would make Rylee a queen one day. | |
Brackwell Betrothed To Delacroix Year 1527 | Despite realising that nearly all royal engagements for the lovely Lisa Delacroix, would be incestuous, the Delacroix hope to improve alliances by marriage and convince the Brackwells into letting Jagger marry Lisa. Hand Murdered Year 1528 | In a severe downturn of events, the hand of the king, Sigeweard Saunders is found murdered with multiple stab wounds to his chest, in the forest of Kingswood. Along with him, the bodies of quite a few mercenaries were are also discovered, some burned and some mortally wounded with the bloody sword of the North. It was apparent, that someone paid them off to eliminate the noble in an ambush. Investigations began, but it is no secret that on his road to power, the old Saunders had made several enemies...
