[attr="class","textTitle"]General Board Rules [attr="class","textBody"] - No OOC Drama: This includes everything from calling names to flaming to disrespecting others’ beliefs and notions. Please keep it civil at all times with everyone on the site; be it a member or a staff. RP sites are for fun. Remember that at all times and keep all the drama to IC plots. (Now, that we love!)
- PG-13: We understand TSOIAF is not PG-13; but, Proboards ToS requires us to be kid-friendly. And that means you need to fade to black when needed. Don’t go into details when it comes to gore, extreme violence, nudity, drugs etc.
- No Plagiarism: DO NOT post content that isn’t yours and claim it to be yours. This includes, but not limited to, posts, templates, and images. Coding and digital graphics are arts as well; respect the artists. Leave credits to the original coder/artist in every place you use their content.
- Activity Check: Happens every month on the first week. If you are going on a break, inform a staff and we will keep your character sheet. If not, it will be archived. If you left for whatever reason without informing and want to come back after a long break, welcome back. Your character sheet will still be in the archives. Just PM a mod and he/she will move it to the accepted section.

[attr="class","textTitle"]In-Character Rules [attr="class","textBody"] - One Account Per Character: You can create as many characters as you want. However, ensure that you can keep all of them active. If we find that you are creating many characters but not actually RPing with any of them, we will stop you from creating any more.
- General Roleplay Rules: You know these. No godmoding. No metagaming. No powergaming. No text-speak in IC posts.
- Site-Canon/Powers: Characters who chose to play the site-canon characters or obtained powers through events or other means are expected to be very active. If you do not post ICly at least once in two weeks, these powers/characters will be taken from you. If you are going on a break, inform a mod. Depending on the duration of the break, you may or may not be allowed to keep the powers/characters.
- Liquid Time: It is up to you to keep the chronology of your travels in check. In your tracker, the threads will be logged in the order in which they were locked.
- Word Count: We are an intermediate RP site and we require at least 200 words per post. Otherwise, it is really difficult for the other person to respond.
- Thread Tags: All threads must have all the relevant tags in brackets before the thread title:
- Open (O) – Anyone can join this thread.
- Private (P) - Only members invited by the thread starter can join.
- Duel (D) - A thread where a duel between two characters is planned.
- Battle (B) - A thread where two armies fight for a fort or castle.
- Location [Location Name] - Apart from one of the tags above, all threads must have the location tag.
So, for example, if an open thread called Lorem Ipsum is occurring in Winterfell, then the title will be: "(O)[Winterfell]Lorem Ipsum".
- Thread Locking: Once you are finished with a thread, you must post the link in your Evaluations Thread. A mod will go over your thread to ensure all rules have been followed and lock the thread, making all the changes in your character sheet.
- Thread Rewards: At the end of the thread, you can choose either:
- 1 Trait Point per 3 posts, or
- 1 Man per 2 posts.
- If there are any residual posts in the thread, it will be noted in your log and will be added in the next evaluation.
- Whisper Tags: In a thread where there are more than two characters, but you want to whisper a secret to only one of them, you can insert a whisper that can only be read by the intended target by clicking the . However, please use this feature responsibly. You cannot scream a 'whisper' across an open field and expect only the intended target to hear. If we find that the whisper feature is being abused, the abuser will face penalties.
