[attr="class","boxsub"]it's a big world out there
[attr="class","boxtext"]
[attr="class","boxtext2"]
The bastard son of house Orlant, a minor house in the North. After several incidents of mistreatment by his Orlant brothers, his Lord father sent Jorg to the Saunders to serve them as a squire and servant, seemingly to protect his bastard son. Jorg complied, since he never really cared for a higher seat or the house's good fortune. He mostly works as a servant, but he's also taken up the sword and bow since he's slowly being groomed into a squire. He's a quite boy, unless you catch him out of duty, where he's happy to engage in long conversations about all things but the inner workings of the house he's serving.[break][break]
He's never had many friends, only acquaintances. He's such a bleak person that people usually ignore him, making him unable to actually hold onto anyone and get to know them better. If anyone does give him a second chance however, Jorg can prove to be a very reliable ally. He's extremely loyal and would never betray anyone he cared about, even if his life depended on it. He's one to go out of his way to help friends, regardless of whether they'd do the same for him. He's not gullible, and will rarely fall for lies, but he also won't condemn a liar simply for being one.[break][break]
Being the distant person that he is, Jorg doesn't really have many enemies. The only people he could call enemies in his life are his half-brothers and his father's wife, but even they wouldn't actually go out of their way to see him dead. Jorg himself doesn't consider them enemies, but rather understands and justifies their dislike of him. He tends to do the same thing with others, and ends up unintentionally disregarding any sort of hostility towards him. Unless the hatred does not have a basis, everyone is good in Jorg's book. Not to say that he's ignorant of serious offences. He knows how far he can let something go, and will not hesitate to call out the offender, but he rarely does so, especially if the matter involves going against anyone above him.[break][break]
Regarding love and family, Jorg has always been the type to postpone both. His only true family was his mother, and she was someone he didn't really enjoy the company of. Thus family is a very unimportant matter to him. He sees it as a man's duty to have a family, to leave behind heirs, and even that is only the noble men's duty. Being a commoner and a bastard at that, he's never considered the idea of marriage, and nor has he ever had the experience of falling in love with anyone, so it leaves him with little to work with on such matters.
