- You MUST read the Rules.
- In situations that are not pre-planned OOCly, we use dice rolls to determine the outcome of key interactions. Follow the Dice Roll Guide to understand how to use the dice roller.
- In The Seven Kingdoms (TSK), we use a trait system to guide character development and interaction. So, familiarize yourself with the Traits.
- We are an alternate universe RP; that is, we only use some elements of A Song of Ice and Fire (ASOIAF), but none of the characters or history from the series itself. So, there is no House Stark or Lannister. Fear not, for we have our own History, Characters and Ruling Houses.
- Furthermore, you could Create Your Own House, claim a fort, and climb the ladder from there.
- In the history (hopefully you read it!), you would have noticed that Westeros is a highly unstable continent right now with every House pouncing on the opportunity for power. Therefore, borders are determined by the lords of the forts and whoever they have sworn fealty to. Find out how you can conquer and expand your influence using the Duel & Battle System.
- Before you draft up your character, I suggest going through the available Site-Canon Characters and the Wanted Characters sections to see if you are interested in any of those.
- Now, you are ready to begin filling your Character Application. Following are some important information that will help you with your choices in the application:
- Note that your character sheet is private; i.e., only you and staff can see its contents. So, it important that you make a Plotter Thread where you give information regarding your character that you want everyone to know.
- Character Classes: Each character can start out as either a Commoner or a Noble.
- Commoners will start with 60 Trait Points.
- Nobles will start with 100 men in their army and an NPC Squire.
- House: List of Houses & Organizations
- Powers & Extras: These are powers and additional perks you earn through events and such. So, it can be left untouched while applying.
- Note that your character sheet is private; i.e., only you and staff can see its contents. So, it important that you make a Plotter Thread where you give information regarding your character that you want everyone to know.
- When you are finished with your application, a Mod will go through it and approve it.
- Here are some things that you may want to do while you wait for your character application to be approved.
- Create your Roll Tracker.
- Create your Evaluations Thread.
- Create your Plotter.
- Join the Discord Channel.
- Create your Roll Tracker.
- Once your character is approved, you can begin RPing.
- Liquid Time: You can participate in multiple threads at the same time; however, it is up to you to keep the chronology of the events logical. In your thread tracker, your threads will be listed in the order they were locked and does not reflect the actual timeline.
